Halo 5: Guardians Screenshots Showcase New Warzone Firefight Content

With only four days to go before the full experience of 343 Industries’ Halo 5: Guardians goes free for Xbox Live Gold members, which will start on June 29th and will end on July 5th, some new screenshots surfaced showing the new features of the free update, Warzone Firefight.

That’s right, if you are considering buying or wanting to play Halo 5: Guardians a new special will allow you to do so starting on June 29th, and ending on July 5th. Folks with Xbox Live Gold will be able to play the game for free, which is followed by new content and the full game going half price with a 50% off deal.

Speaking of new content, Spartans will be able to duke it out in a new eight player cooperative mode that sees players fighting through five rounds of difficult objectives.

In addition to new content, some minor changes across the UI will be implemented that ranges from scoreboards, respawn timers, and other features in that category.

Moreover, the six maps that will include Warzone Firefight consist of Escape from A.R.C., March on Stormbreak, Raid on Apex 7, Skirmish at Darkstar, Urban and a new map called Attack on Sanctum.

Also joining the fray of content is the “Protect Object(s)” game mode that tasks players to defend a special object from attackers. You can check out some of the new content in a list of screenshots below.

Halo 5

If you thought that was all, there lies another part to the update that includes Attack on Sanctum. Battling on the home world of the Sanghelios is noted to hold strange landscapes, while providing massive battles. Both a Promethean and Covenant boss are noted to be fighting during the war between both teams, which the two enemies are capable of stealing points from either team during the battle.

Last but not least, a new covenant boss who stands as a Grant Goblin utilizing a mech suit will also join the update, along with a new UNSC aerial ship called the AV-49 Wasp.
