DOOM Gains New Modes Sector And Exodus, And SnapMap Content

Bethesda and id Software recently published the second free update for folks to download, which adds two new modes called Sector and Exodus. The capture and hold point and TCF modes are now live, which tag along with the weekend long double experience event. DOOM is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Adding on to the update, new SnapMap pieces are now available in the SnapMap editor. These pieces cover the hellish realm of skulls, bricks and other un-Earthly objects. I’m sure this will please a lot of hardcore SnapMap fans seeing how it adds more variety to the base editor.

Taking a deeper look into the newly added mode Sector. Folks will find that capture points reside somewhere in the map and most be occupied. During the occupation the opposing team must be stopped, or else the Sector will fall into their hands. In other words, it’s just Hamburger Hill.

The second mode is capture the flag, or CTF. Entitled as Exodus, it’s a unique mode in which players most track down a constantly moving flag and base. As one can image, this will call for constant movement and surprise attacks from both sides.

Like always, a new trailer shows the added content, which provides a nice minute and a half long look at said features. If you want to check out the trailer showing the two new modes and the SnapMap content, you can watch it below thanks to Bethesda Softworks.

The double experience event and new content are currently live. If you want to join in and get more experience, now is the time seeing how the event will end this weekend.

Lastly, Bethesda announced new DOOM DLC pack named “Unto the Evil,” which will launch next week for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. For more information regarding the aforesaid and more, you can head on over to bethesda.net.
