Pirate Game Tempest Set To Exit Early Access On August 22nd

Hero Craft and Lion’s Shade announced today that their RPG pirate game Tempest will be leaving Early Access soon. Dropping into Early Access back in December of 2015, the game will finally exit its early stages and move on to being complete.

If you are into classic pirate looting and cannon ship battling, Tempest might be a game worth checking out. Additionally, the almost year old title will soon exit Early Access and will enter its complete stage on August 22nd.

This information comes from the devs’ main update page on Steam Early Access, and details some little things about Tempest’s pricing and how the team plans on squashing bugs in the future.

As for newcomers who don’t know anything about Tempest, the devs’ game revolves around pirates in search of lost and rare booty, which is hidden and surrounded by mythical creatures and other pirates. You can read the description below:

“As you navigate the dangerous waters of the game you won’t just catch up with merchants, but you will encounter fellow pirates, creepy followers of a mysterious cult and terrible mythical monsters: Kraken, Leviathan and other infamous creatures.
Your ship – the pride and joy of any freebooter – can be customized in many ways. You are free to change almost everything – from the color of your flag and sails to the ship’s hull and figurehead.”

Although the trailer is a few months old, it’s the most recent video pertaining to Tempest latest update. With that said, you can check out the near minute long trailer courtesy of HeroCraft.

Tempest will cost $14.99, €14.99 and £10.99 on its official launch, which will be on August 2nd, and will also arrive with new content. The devs did not note what the new content will be, but they did notion that there will be post launch updates afterwards.
