Fallout 4 Mods Bring 4K Textures, Sleeping, Windows And Scrapped Revolver

There  are some new Fallout 4 mods that are up and out. Currently available for PC and Xbox One, modders Hein84, Cartman1975, FLipdeezy and AsXas bring forth some interactive mods to make the wasteland a little bit more exciting. Fallout 4 is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

The first mod up is by Hein84. This new mod entitled Vivid Fallout brings revamped textures and upscaled 4K textures. Many cities, grounds, walls and other environmental assets have been re-textured so that wastelanders can get better FPS while playing.

One place that is said to be noticeably different is Downtown Boston. If you want you can check out a video by theDeluxeSam showing Vivid Fallout, or you can get the mod by hitting up NexusMods.

The next mod up, by Cartman1975, is pretty popular. I don’t really get why there are so many request for concrete walls and windows, but it is what it is. This mod brings three new concrete walls and a roof with glass windows.

You can either choose a concrete wall with two ironbars, or without two ironbars… that are both bulletproof. You can get this mod by visiting NexusMods.

The next mod up is by FLipdeezy. This mod allows for you to sleep in both crafted beds, and beds throughout the wasteland. The mod can cause additional scripts to play out like cutscenes after waking up, if your affinity is high enough with your companion you can “share the bed with them”, among other scenarios.

The option to save or to turn off saves are evident in this mod, along with animations for going to sleep. You can get this mod by heading to NexusMods.

AsXas comes in with the last mod on this list that brings back a weapon that didn’t quite cut it in the actual game. Revealed in concept art before Glitchthesda released Fallout 4, AsXas now anoints wastelanders to fully customize the weapon and use the Handmade Revolver. You can either get the mod at NexusMods, or you can watch a video showing the weapon by Koubitz.

If one of these mods seem interesting for Xbox One, you can head on over to mods.bethesda.net to see if it’s compatible by using the ‘Search’ bar.
