Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds

The Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is a Massive-Multipayer Online Japanese Role Playing Game (or simply, MMOJRPG) is a game that is developed by Netmarble and published by Level 5. It’s a Japanese RPG since it was based on the Ni no Kuni series which was released by Bandai Namco in Japan.

The game tells a story situated in a distant future where cars are tireless and actually fly. In that time, the new game that is called Soul Diver which is something that is more advanced than our Virtual Reality and the player’s conscience will be actually delivered into the world of Ni no Kuni.

After meeting with the AI Character called Rania, the game got a massive glitch and crashes the game, transferring players into a kingdom where the war of demons – humans is happening. After receiving the Queen’s special blue crystal, players then transferred into a different time which looks like an event before the war (or perhaps in the future). Together with Club, a Cat-shaped creature that will accompany players, they are going to the kingdom to save the queen, again.

The overwhelming Ghibli-Esque atmosphere

Ni no Kuni series is widely known as a game with a unique atmosphere. Its one-of-a-kind art style that can’t be copied by developers makes it more unique, as it adapted Studio Ghibli Artstyle and transform it into a masterpiece together with a good story that the game has offered.

To be honest, This Studio Ghibli-esque is one of the reasons why I played Ni No Kuni: Crossworld and I can say, I am not mad at all. It’s gorgeous! It feels like, I’m entering the Ghibli Universe and it’s something that I never imagined

Gameplay and Jobs.

Aside from its unique art style, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds Gameplay is also good. It’s an MMORPG which means you can play together with other players together. The game has five different jobs and each of them has its own combat style as well as the character.

The character itself is really different – starting from a muscular guy Destroyer, the Adorable engineer teen, a handsome swordsman, the cute adult magician catgirl, and also a Rogue Beast boy. Each of the jobs will have 6 different skill buttons three of which are already unlocked and the rest will be opened along with the game.

The combat style itself really resembled an RPG with an automatic feature that can be enabled or disabled based on your preference. The Automatic Feature here is the ability to attack the enemies without clicking any buttons. If you are the typical manual RPG gamer, it might be weird at first but it will be fun at a later time.

Customization

The Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds are the game that enables players to customize their characters. While you can’t really choose the gender, you can definitely change the hair, eye colors, suits, and weapons. You can also add a few accessories to make your chars cuter.

Weapons are no exception here and you can always change them, upgrade it or sell your weapons to get something that is better.

Conclusion

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is a unique game that you can play. Furthermore, it’s also Free to Play so you can play it together with your friends, girlfriends, or even your husband/wife. The art style is one of the appealing points here and I believe any kind of person can play this game. It’s fun and mesmerizing.

Just a bit of note: you might feel the game gets a bit similar to some games that start with G… But, I can see this game will be lit.
