Mirage: Arcane Warfare And Total War: Warhammer Playable At PAX East

Torn Banner Studios announced that their 6-vs-6 deathmatch game, Mirage: Arcane Warfare will be playable at PAX East next week between April 22nd and April 24th at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

The game is a first-person combat game with various character classes featuring melee weapons and arcane magic, just like the name implies. Players will be able to pick from a variety of character classes with various types of magic and do battle against opposing teams in standard team deathmatch arenas.

If you don’t really remember what Mirage: Arcane Warfare looks like, there’s a trailer you can check out below.

The game takes place in a fantastical Mid-East setting with bazaars, palaces, marketplaces and sandy settings working as the atmospheric backdrop for the game. Gameplay wise, Mirage is similar to Torn Banner Studios’ previous outing, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare.

The developers have plans on pumping out this first-person combat game sometime later in 2016 for Steam on PC. You can learn more about the game by visiting the official website.

Mirage: Arcane Warfare isn’t the only high-profile game that will be on display for attendees to play-test and try out.

Sega and Creative Assembly announced that Total War: Warhammer will also be on display at PAX East for attendees to get their hands on the title and try it out. The game is a highly anticipated, high-end real-time strategy game that spouts great graphics and visual effects along with large-scale battles between classic Games Workshop creatures, characters and factions.

Between April 22nd and April 24th at booth #8109 between 10am and 6pm, gamers will be able to play-test the upcoming RTS game from Creative Assembly. Various developers from the studio will be on hand to offer details, explanations and walkthroughs of the maps, units and tactics that players can employ while playing Total War: Warhammer.

There will be a couple of playable scenarios for gamers to experience ahead of the May 24th release date. For more information on Total War: Warhammer, be sure to pay a visit to the official website.
