If you are looking for a Project Highrise guide to help understand some aspects of the game better, this guide here may help you out. As of now, publisher Kasedo Games and developer SomaSim’s game is out and available for PC via Steam, and has been available since September 8th.
One of the latest games to come out that features skyscraper building is Project Highrise. The construction game is not for everyone seeing how it revolves around building a tower, but those who do enjoy building a prosperous tower will learn the basics behind Project Highrise in this guide.
I think before going any deeper about the game you should read the official description below.
“Your job as the architect and developer is to build world-famous skyscrapers that will be the envy of the entire city, masterpieces of art and engineering. But a skyscraper is more than just steel and glass, it’s an intricate ecosystem, full of people that live and work in the building. They become a complex machine that needs your steady hand to keep it running smoothly and efficiently.”
One of the most important tips to building an adaptable building is creating proper spacing for future endeavors. For example, make a tower that has consistency all throughout so that at the bottom floor it has a theme, the mid floor has a theme, and the top floor resembles something.
In addition to the above, the bottom floor could be business oriented, while the mid floor is food related, and the top floor is more into housing and so on.
A useful tip is to usually keep the water and electric power rooms close to each other when starting off. Later down the line you can branch these rooms further to accommodate other rooms, but for beginners it’s best to keep rooms like the two near each other.
For a better explanation on the overall game, HForHavoc has a five part video guide showing all there is to know about the game.
Project Highrise is out now for PC via Steam for $19.99. To learn more about this game you can hit the game’s main website.
