EA Sports is taking a new direction with this year’s outing of FIFA 17. They have the all new story mode, something that’s been slowly making its way from their AAA RPGs and action titles to their sports games. The cinematic-style storytelling from Fight Night: Champion will be present in this year’s outing of FIFA 17
DSO Gaming originally reported on the news a few days ago, detailing what’s contained within the demo, which is available now for download via Origin, the Xbox One and the PS4.
According to Blues, the demo features three different stadiums to play around in as well as 12 different clubs to test out. You can see the clubs made available in the game with the list below.
• Manchester United
• Manchester City
• Chelsea
• Real Madrid
• Juventus
• Inter
• Paris Saint-Germain
• Olympique Lyonnais
• Seattle Sounders
• Bayern München
• Tigres U.A.N.L. (MX)
• Gamba Osaka
You’ll be able to play a little bit of The Journey, featuring Alex Hunter, the Kick-Off mode, the Skill Games where you can practice your skills while the matches load, including a little multiplayer mayhem.
Surprisingly, the demo will not only be available for the Xbox One and PS4, but you can also download the demo for the Xbox 360 and PS3 as well. Totally shocking to me that EA is still favoring the seventh-gen consoles after so many others have given up on them.
Well, fans of FIFA 17 will be able to play-test the game well ahead of the September 27th release, whether that’s on PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 or PS4. The only thing you’ll be missing out on with the seventh-gen versions is The Journey mode, but otherwise you get everything else. You can download the demo from over on Origin, the Xbox Store or the PlayStation Store. The full game is due at the end of the month.
