Destiny Rise Of Iron: Choosing The Best Of Efrideet’s Weapons And Armor

Destiny: Rise of Iron is out now for Xbox One and PS4. However, a new update dropped that brings Efrideet who sells Iron Banner rewards, weapons and armor. This update also brings a new quest by Lord Saladin. Destiny is out now for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4.

In this Destiny: Rise of Iron guide Guardians looking for good weapons and gear in Efrideet’s inventory will hopefully get a clear understanding on each item and how they function in PvP and PvE. Now I won’t directly say how they fair in PvP or PvE, seeing how certain people hone certain play styles in different ways, instead I’ll just list the ups and downs for each item.

But before hitting you with a wall of text, there’s a video that covers the latest stuff about the Iron Banner and new weapons and gear, thanks to Unknown Player.

All of the cosmetics for the Hunter, Titan and Warlock all look like different variations of the Iron Lord gear. However, all of the cosmetic gear are all preference based. There are some that you can skip out on and then there are some you can purchase depending on if they have good perks.

The best weapon you should pick up from Efrideet’s inventory is Unbent Tree, although there are some things worth noting about it before picking it up. But a weapon you should skip is The Proud Spire. Comparing The Proud Spire to the Party Crasher, Conspiracy Theory or the Matador, the new weapon stands no chance.

Looking back to the Unbent Tree we can see that it’s competing with the Doctrine of Passing. The former auto rifle has less Stability and Reload, but more Ammo and Range than the latter. With a decent roll the weapon might be on par with Doctrine of Passing.

TLDR: Get the Unbent Tree, pick up the quest, if you want get some of the armor/gear, and skip out on the The Proud Spire.

Destiny is out now for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4, while Destiny: Rise of Iron is out now for only the PS4 and Xbox One.
