Focus Home Interactive recently posted up a new trailer for the upcoming first-person shooter, Space Hulk: Deathwing. The new trailer highlights some of the devastating arsenal that will be at the disposal of players in the upcoming first-person shooter.
The trailer is only two and a half minutes long, but it’s long enough to give gamers an awesome look at the visually atmospheric take on Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40K universe. You can check out the video below.
The video starts with a few Terminators in some techno-Roman environments, utilizing various weapons from the Warhammer lore, including the Bolter, a shield and hammer, as well as swords and cannons.
It’s hard to keep track of the action in the trailer as it zips by very quickly in a haze of gore and bloody body parts.
The assault cannon takes a while to rev up but the thing will absolutely shred enemies to pieces based on what’s put on display in the trailer. It would have been even more impressive if the environment was ripped to shreds just like the bad guys when heavy weapons are used, but the most damage that happens is parallax mapping effects are pasted to reflect the bullet hole decals where the player characters shot and missed the enemies.
They also highlight the plasma cannon in the game; a massive cannon that shoots area of effect plasma at the enemies. The trailer doesn’t do the best of jobs showing how dangerous the weapon is but you get to see it fired a few times before they switch over to give gamers a glimpse at the flamethrower in action.
Space Hulk: Deathwing is due for release this November for PC. It seems like a Warhammer 40K rendition of Vermintide. Anyway, you can learn more by visiting the official website.
