PC folks will be able to play Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator via Steam on December 14th. The news comes from the devs posting up a new page on Steam showing Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator’s PC release date. As of now Arc System Works’ stylized fighting game is out now for PS3 and PS4.
GGXR fans can look over the latest text on the new page on Steam for Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator, in which the post can be read below that sits on the new page:
“Revolutionary 3D cell-animation graphics further refined, and more game contents added! The next-generation fighting game Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator is now out on Steam!”
Folks on PC will be able to pick from 23 playable characters in Revelator’s roster, where each character offers a unique style from the other playable fighters. Speaking of unique styles, beginners can feel at ease with the new step-by-step training program, from Tutorial Mode being re-modified into an action game to learn the ropes, to the introduction of Stylish Mode that allows easy input for Special Attacks. New players can also learn each character and their moves by visiting the in-game FAQ for additional help.
For players who already have a keen sense as to how the game operates and know the bearings in the fighting genre, the devs have a Combo Mode to teach all characters’ exploits and combos, and the Mission Mode to teach about the characters’ general tactics and techniques.
This now brings us to the Story Mode that features fully cinematic scenes using the new 3D graphics engine. The story sports a short introduction to the past series at the start of the Story Mode, so players who missed out on the story, or who are new to the series, can catch up simply by playing the game.
Other features that the PC version will receive include online features like Rank Match and Player Match. But the most important part about the PC version is that it will allow folks to mod the game however they see fit.
Lastly, Arc System Works will release Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator on Steam for PC on December 14th. The game is currently out for PS3 and PS4.
