EA Access Adds Battlefield 3, Bad Company 2 To The Vault

Xbox One gamers signed up to the EA Access subscription service for $5 a month will have two more games they can access as part of the subscription: Battlefield 3 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Over on the official EA website they announced that gamers can currently access the two aforementioned Battlefield titles right now from the Vault.

They also announced that they have four more games planned to enter into the Vault later in 2017, including but not limited to the following games:
o Dead Space Ignition
o Madden NFL 17
o Skate 3
o Zuma’s Revenge

Over the next three months they mention that they will be expanding the EA Access Vault to include more than 40 games.

A week ahead of the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda EA Access subscribers will also be able to play the game early for up to 10 hours. The free trial will take place on March 16th. Not everyone is thrilled with the upcoming Mass Effect due to one of the game designers being openly racist.

EA Access has been having a hard time maintaining interest due to other paid services also offering free goods. If you’re already subscribed to Xbox Live Gold you get four free games a month. Signing up for EA Access only to gain access to Electronic Arts titles isn’t nearly as compelling.

Sony completely forfeited any opportunities to utilize the service from Electronic Arts, saying that it wasn’t the sort of thing that they felt offered their customers anything of substantial value. I concur.

The limitation of being stuck on the Xbox One didn’t deter EA from pursuing the monthly paid service; they’ve also opened up an Origin Access for PC gamers, offering them an opportunity play games from the Vault as well.

If you are registered with EA Access you can begin downloading Battlefield 3 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 right now.
