There’s a new glitch making the rounds in Fallout 4… a duplication glitch for version 1.12. A lot of people have been looking for the latest duplication glitches in the game to cheat their way through Bethesda’s title from start to finish on PS4 or Xbox One. Well, there are some ways to cheat and dupe in the latest version of Fallout 4.
YouTuber Don Gamer Guy uploaded a seven minute video featuring three of the new glitches for Fallout 4 for version 1.12 on PS4 and Xbox One. You can check out the video below.
So for the hearing impaired, the first glitch is a duplication glitch.
1 – First you choose the item you want to duplicate by the item and dropping all of it on the ground. So if you have 20 of something or 100 of something, drop all 20 or all 100 on the ground.
2 – Go to the Workshop and press Square and Circle together (or ‘X’ and ‘B’ on the Xbox controller) and if you get the menu asking you to scrap the item, hold down Circle (or ‘B’) and the next menu should pop up asking you to store your item. If you did it successfully, the dupe menu should look like in the image below, asking you if you want to scrap the item you’re trying to dupe.
Congratulations. You just performed the dupe glitch in Fallout 4.
Fallout 4 1.12 Bottlecap Glitch
The unlimited bottlecap glitch in Fallout 4 also still works in version 1.12. In the video for instance, he places down several Armor Emporiums and then uses Square and Circle together (or ‘X’ and ‘B’) to retrieve them and gain nearly 10K bottlecaps in the process.
You can see how to perform the glitch at the two minute mark in the video above.
The last glitch is very tricky to do and doesn’t quite work as intended, but if you really want to try it out he showcases how you do it using a follower and the Automatron machine. It’s a little complex but you can try it out if you’re in desperate need of resources.
Fallout 4 is available right now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
