Nintendo Switch Foldable Headset, Starter Kit Announced

A new line of accessories have been announced for the Nintendo Switch, even though the system isn’t even out yet. Snakebyte sent out word that they have a series of gear available for gamers looking to get a headstart on setting up their Nintendo Switch gaming console.

The new foldable headset will be shipping in the spring along with the new starter kit, both of which are designed to maximize the potential usage of the Nintendo Switch. The foldable headset is designed for gamers who game on the go. It takes advantage of the Switch’s portability.

The Nintendo Switch Starter Kit comes with a carry bag, stereo earbuds, a cleaning cloth for the screen, a screen protector, control caps and a few game cases.

According to Nick Repenning, CEO for snakebyte USA, he commented in the press release about the line-up of accessories that they have plans on showing off at this year’s CES in Las Vegas, Nevada, saying…

“Nintendo has a tradition of honouring the past while forging a bold future, and with the release of the NES Classic Edition as well as the forthcoming Switch, we believe that gamers everywhere will respond positively to the new hardware Nintendo are introducing,”

“We expect our range of Switch accessories to be high quality and thoughtfully designed, ideal for a day one purchase alongside new console sales. We believe that the new products announced today will allow us to continue growing market share in our gaming hardware business and look forward to sharing further details soon.”

The Nintendo Switch line-up will be accompanied by some NES Classic Edition paraphernalia as well, including an extension cable for the controllers, and a power adapter for the system.

They don’t roll out any specific prices on the new line-up of gear but the prices will likely arrive just before the Nintendo Switch launches this upcoming March. You can keep track of the updates and announcements regarding the gear by hitting up Snakebyte’s official Facebook page.
