Looking for Xur this week in Destiny? This guide will not only cover his location but also what exotic items he holds for the second Friday of February. Bungie’s Destiny is out right now for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4, while Rise of Iron is only out for Xbox One and PS4.
Upon arriving at the Tower you will find derpy Xur in the hangar area, which if you turn right after spawning and go through a security room you will find him at the part that overlooks ships entering the docking bay.
This week Xur holds an armor selection that isn’t worth look over, unless you are new to the game. His exotic items includes the gauntlets for Titans No Backup Plans, the Hunter helmet Skyburners Annex, and the Warlock helmet Apotheosis Veil. It’s said that out of the three the Titan’s No Backup Plans is the best, but that’s mainly for early and intermediate players.
In Xur’s weapon section we see that he has the Hawkmoon hand cannon. It’s advised to pick this weapon up seeing how it is a pretty viable weapon to use, although it did face a nerf that turned quite a bit of Gaurdians away from it, but a new upcoming patch is said to address hand cannons and will change the Hawkmoon — so pick it up in case it gets better.
You can watch a video by Mesa Sean who covers all of the above.
Below is a bulleted list that covers most of the items’ pricing:
- (Titan Gauntlets) No Backup Plans – 13 Strange Coins
- (Hunter Helmet) Skyburners Annex – 13 Strange Coins
- (Warlock Helmet) Apotheosis Veil – 13 Strange Coins
- (Hand Cannon) Hawkmoon – 23 Strange Coins
- (Legacy Engram) Chest Piece – 29 Strange Coins
The TL;DR version of the above is pick up the Hawkmoon hand cannon if you haven’t already, and from here things like Heavy Ammo Synths, No Backup Plans, and Three of Coins are all optional.
Destiny is out right now for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One, while the expansion, Rise of Iron, is only for Xbox One and PS4.
