Destiny: Xur Location And Items For Feb 3rd, 2017

Guardians looking for Xur will be able to find the mysterious stranger in this guide. Not only that, but this guide will  also cover the items and exotics in his inventory for the month of February. As of now Bungie’s Destiny is out now for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One, while the expansion, Rise of Iron, is only out for PS4 and Xbox One.

If you are new to the game and are looking for decent gear Xur isn’t all that derpy and is somewhat worth your time. If you are a veteran of the game and you are looking for Xur, it’s worth noting that he is derpy and you should skip him altogether. With that said you will be able to find him by heading on over the northern part of the Tower near the Speaker.

This time around Xur’s armor inventory contains the Helm of Saint-14 which stands to be a Titan helmet, the Radiant Dance Machines boots for Hunters, and the Skull of Dire Ahamkara helmet for Warlocks.

Looking over to the weapon that Xur currently holds this week, he has the Invective shotgun that sports attributes like ammo-rejuvenation and full auto. The gun, in my opinion, is not something that you should bring into PvP, but a weapon that is ideal for PvE for those still climbing up the ladder.

Below is a video by Mesa Sean. The video guide covers what items and exotics are worth buying, which the guide ends around the 4:18 second mark.

If you want to know the pricing of some of his stuff it sits below in the bulleted list:

  • (Titan Helmet) Helm of Sait-14 – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Hunter Boots) Radiant Dance Machines – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Warlock Helmet)  Skull of Dire Ahamkara – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Shotgun) Invective – 17 Strange Coins
  • (Engram) Legacy Helmet – 29 Strange Coins

TL;DR: If you have been playing the game for a long time and you want to give Xur the time of day, just pick up Three of Coins or the Heavy Ammo Synth. If you are new to the game stuff worth considering are things like Helm of Sait-14 and Invective.

Destiny is out now right now, same as its expansion Rise of Iron. The former is available across PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One, while the latter is only playable on PS4 and Xbox One.
