Game Journalist Jed Whitaker Files Copyright Strike on Video Of Him Saying N*gger

Jed Whitaker, a male feminist and journalist that contributes to Destructoid, filed a copyright strike against Heat Street writer Will Hicks for posting up a YouTube video containing clips of him where he uses the “N” word.

The news was spread by Will Hicks himself, who shared the copyright strike image of the video no longer being available on his channel. Kotaku In Action was quick to pick up the news.

This isn’t just empty posturing from the Heat Street writer, though. Ian Miles Cheong, another journalist, managed to re-upload the video to his Twitter account.

And for extra measure, they also included the video in a Heat Street article pointing out Whitaker’s hypocrisy.

Whitaker has been known to be outspoken in favor of what most normal people called “Social Justice Warrior” activism.

Recently Whitaker has been attacking a YouTuber by the name of JonTron, who came out against Social Justice Warriors and their politically correct activism.

The video collage of featuring Whitaker speaking disparagingly of women and using lots of provocative language was not something that he wanted spread around. It came from a live-stream where he was apparently mocking dude-bro culture.
