Middle Earth: Shadow Of War Leaked By Target For PS4, Xbox One

Target has supposedly leaked Middle Earth: Shadow of War for the PS4 and Xbox One. The game is rumored for announcement on March 8th. The game itself is rumored for release on August 22nd, later in the summer.

AllGamesDelta captured an image of the store listing before it was removed, featuring a list of the gameplay features and pricing details.

Middle Earth: Shadow of War will carry a $59.99 price tag for the normal version, but the gold edition will be $99.99.

So what do you get in the gold edition? Four different expansions, including the Slaught Tribe Nemesis Expansion, Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion, the Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion, the Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion, and a gold war chest. Additionally there are new weapons and items included in the expansions to extend the playability of the game.

Players will attempt to dominate Mordor with their own Orc army in the follow up to Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor.

They appear to be putting a very strong focus on the nemesis system, even more-so than the first game.

They also decided to throw in a token black guy since people complained about a lack of black people in the original Lord of the Rings movies. They’ve gotta hit those diversity quotas.

Gameplay wise there’s nothing detailed about the title other than that players will raise an army to fight against Lord Sauron and his Ring Wraiths.

Following the FTC fiasco with the last game, I’m sure Warner Bros., will avoid any kind of unscrupulous promotion this time around. And of course, the only time the media is willing to talk about ethics in journalism is when YouTubers are under the microscope.

If the rumors are true then we can expect an announcement for Middle Earth: Shadow of War in early March with a release in late August. It’s pretty telling that they already have a complete line-up of DLC planned out and seemingly prepped for release well ahead of the game’s announcement. I guess that lets you know exactly what the DLC situation is for the game.

Stay tuned in for March 8th to see if it’s true that Warner Bros., will announce the title on that date for Xbox One and PS4.
