Xur shows up every Friday to sell Guardians exotic items, armor and a weapon to “help” Guardians face tougher enemies or players in Desinty. This week, he’s not all that derpy and has some okay exotics for players to peruse through.
This time around folks will be able to find Xur near the Speaker, in which he is stationed by a gigantic locked door. This week he is selling stuff that is better for beginners and intermediate players, so folks who have reached endgame should know by now that he has nothing for you.
The mysterious vendor armor selection consists of the Titans ACD/0 Feedback Fence gauntlets, the Hunters Graviton Forfeit helmet and the Warlocks Heart of Praxic Fire chest piece. The Hunter and Warlock pieces are something worth considering if you are into PvP and stuff and looking to expand your Guardian.
The weapon that Xur is selling this week is the Thunderlord, a heavy machine gun. The weapon has its merits when used in correct situations, and while its not like other explosive heavy weapons, it does stand to be a reasonable choice.
Below, YouTuber Mesa Sean has a video guide showing Xur’s inventory.
Here is a list showing the pricing for each exotic item in Xur’s March 24th inventory, which can be seen below:
- (Titan Gauntlets) ACD/0 Feedback Fence – 13 Strange Coins
- (Hunter Helmet) Graviton Forfeit – 13 Strange Coins
- (Warlock Chest Piece) Heart of Praxic Fire – 13 Strange Coins
- (Heavy Machine Gun) Thunderlord – 17 Strange Coins
- (Legacy Engram) Heavy Weapon – 31 Strange Coins
if you are looking for a TL;DR, the Hunter and Warlock armor is something to look over if you are looking for some good intermediate armor. The Thunderlord is not a bad choice (although there are other popular heavy weapons out there), while stuff like Three of Coins and Heavy Ammo Synths are something that are optional — but handy to have on hand.
