The mysterious derpy vendor known as Xur has returned and has a fairly decent assortment of exotic items for Guardians to peruse through. Bungie’s Destiny is out now for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One.
Jumping straight into the information, Xur can be found in the club area of the Tower by heading into the hanger and reaching the bottom of said location to find the exotic trader offering what some may label as “goods”.
Upon finding the derpy looking trader he will be selling exotic armor to Guardians that consist of the Immolation Fists gauntlets for Titans, the Khepri’s Sting gauntlets for Hunters and the Ophidian Aspect gauntlets for Warlocks. As for recommendations for the armor Xur has up this week, they are just okay but not terrible, this means you should look through the armor sets carefully especially if you are a Warlock eyeing the Ophidian Aspect gauntlets.
Xur’s exotic weapon this week comes in as the Zhalo Supercell, which is an auto rifle that’s not that bad. I’d actually suggest that Guardians who do not own Zhalo Supercell pick it up due to its ability to deal elemental damage in a decent package.
But that’s enough on his inventory, below is a visual guide by Mesa Sean — who provides a nice look through derpy Xur’s items every week.
Below is a bulleted list showing the pricing of each exotic item as of May 12th, which is followed by the names and class of each item.
- (Titan Gauntlets) Immolation Fists – 13 Strange coins
- (Hunter Gauntlets) Khepri’s Sting – 13 Strange Coins
- (Warlock Gauntlet) Ophidian Aspect – 13 strange Coins
- (Auto Rifle) Zhalo Supercell – 23 Strange Coins
- (Legacy Engram) Boots – 29 Strange Coins
TL;DR: If you are new or have been playing for some time it is best to look through his armor sets carefully. As for his exotic weapon, Zhalo Supercell, pick it up if you don’t already own it. Skip the bundles and Legacy Engram, but do consider the Heavy Ammo Synths and Three of Coins.
