Call Of Duty: WW2 Zombie Mode Will Be Based On Real Events

For SJWs absolutely mind-bent on killing Nazis, you’ll be able to do so in the Call of Duty: WW2 Zombies mode. The thing is, while that isn’t all that interesting or new, Sledgehammer games revealed that there will be a story mode in in the Zombies this time around that’s actually going to be based on real life events.

The news comes courtesy of comments made by Michael Condrey and Glen Schofield, the two leads heading up Sledgehammer Games’ latest Call of Duty outing. Charlie Intel picked up the comments about the Zombies mode from EDGE Magazine, where the duo admitted they couldn’t give much away but that the Zombies mode was based on “real events”.

Of course there’s a lot of history surrounding odd experiments and journeys into the occult surrounding the Nazis regime; attempts to create Nietszche’s Ubermensch or real life “Superman”. I wonder if they’re going to go the goofy route with it the way Treyarch did with their Call of Duty modes centering around the undead, or if they’ll take a more serious tone with the mode?

According to the EDGE Magazine interview, Condrey and Schofield plan on bringing a hint of their Dead Space signature to the game, saying that the Zombies mode will be “unique to our Dead Space signature.”

The two are alumni from Visceral Games and had originally worked on the Dead Space titles before EA blockbustered it up and they ended up leaving to form Sledgehammer Games, where they’ve been working on even more blockbuster titles for Activision.

The Zombies modes in the current Call of Duty outings have been quite tired and lazy. Most are just retreads of the same thing in a different stage. Hopefully Sledgehammer will break away and try something slightly different to give gamers something “unique”… just like they mentioned to EDGE.

Call of Duty: WW2 is due for release on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC starting this November.
