CNN’s Van Jones Says Russia/Trump Story Is “Nothing Burger”

There’s been further corroboration from those within CNN that the whole Donald Trump and Russia angle is a fabricated lie. Following up on CNN producer John Bonifield stating that CNN had no proof or giant evidence to back up their claims, this time around CNN correspondent and political commentator Van Jones literally said that the whole Russia angle at CNN is a “nothing burger”.

In a video captured by Project Veritas, Van Jones openly admits that all of the underpinnings of wrongdoing against Russia for the elections, Trump becoming President of the United States due to Kremlin, and the whole “Russia hacked the elections” narrative is a “nothing burger”.

Van Jones nonchalantly says…

“The Russia thing is just a big nothing burger. […] Yeah […] There’s nothing there you can do… [interrupted]”

Before Van Jones can complete the thought about there being “nothing” that “you can do”, some more fans on the street walk up to him and greet him, and the television political pundit engages his attention elsewhere.

This follows close on the heels of Project Veritas’ other video where it reveals CNN producer, John Bonifield, stating that there was nothing there with the Russia story and that it was just CNN chasing ratings and revenue.

CNN stated that they supported Bonifield in his statements and welcomed the diversity of opinions, but there were a lot less forthcoming with a diplomatic response regarding Van Jones’ comments. According to Business Insider a CNN representative simply replied with “Lol” as the official statement in response to queries about Van Jones’ stating that the whole Russia and Trump story is a “nothing burger”.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders also stated that this pursuit of fake news from mainstream media like a dog chasing a flaming car is “disgraceful”, informing the press and the public at large to look into the Project Veritas videos and to warn people that we’re in a dangerous place in America…

“”If it is accurate, I think it’s a disgrace to all of media, to all of journalism. I think we have gone to a place where if the media can’t be trusted to report the news, then that’s a dangerous place for America, and if that’s the place where certain outlets are going, particularly for the purpose of spiking ratings, and if that’s coming from the top, that’s even more scary, and that’s even more disgraceful.”

During this whole ordeal, CNN recently had to retract a fake news story about Trump and Russia that wasn’t properly vetted, resulting in three of their journalists resigning.
