Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Will Be Playable At E3 This Year

If you’ve been dying to see what the latest builds of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is like, you’ll get your chance at this year’s E3 when TaleWorlds Entertainment demos the title and brand new features to the public for the first time at E3.

According to the press release the demo will be available at he TaleWorlds booth between June 13th and June 15th. Armagan Yavuz, the CEO and founder of TaleWorlds, mentioned that they may have made waves last year, but the demo this year will give gamers a first-hand opportunity to play what they’ve been working on…

“Last year E3 was a tremendous success and learning experience for us as a company. This year, we have a great hands-on demo lined up and are thrilled to be giving visitors their best-ever look at Bannerlord.”

They demonstrated a bit of the siege gameplay at GamesCom last year in Cologne, Germany, but this time around they’ll allow gamers to play it for themselves.

Ali Erkin, the managing director at TaleWorlds mentioned that the demo at E3 will be a milestone, especially considering that gamers will be able to go hands-on with the game, saying…

“We are excited to see how attendees react to playing Bannerlord and receive feedback on the game. Putting the game in the hands of players represents another major milestone as we work towards a release.”

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is running on an all-new engine that TaleWorlds came up with in order to handle better lighting, advanced rendering, and better support for portability. They have plans on putting the game on the Xbox One and PS4 this time around, so they had to optimize and streamline some of the engine properties to support Microsoft and Sony’s platforms.

Expect to see plenty of gameplay footage for the title coming out of E3 this year.
