Xur has returned like every week and has exotic items and other goods for Guardians to buy and ponder over. As it stands now, the first-person shooter, Destiny, is currently available for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One.
Players will be able to find Xur in Tower South, in the club area that is right near the hangar. If you have no idea where the club/nightclub happens to be, head through the hangar and go to the very back until you reach a ramp that goes down into a small dark lit social nightclub space, Xur should be in the far back of said location.
Xur’s exotic armor pieces this weekend happen to be the Eternal Warrior helmet for Titans, the Young Ahamkara’s Spine gauntlets for Hunters, and the Ophidian Aspect gauntlets for Warlocks. The Ophidian Aspect gauntlets are one of the better choices if you had to pick from one of the three armor sets.
The Hawkmoon hand cannon is up for sale once again, the weapon is not bad at this point and fairs quite well in PvE and PvP if you know what you are doing with the gun.
Below is a video guide by Mesa Sean, which runs for three minutes and 31 second in length.
A bulleted list showing each item and their pricing in Strange Coins sits below:
- (Titan Helmet) Eternal Warrior – 13 Strange Coins
- (Hunter Gauntlets) Young Ahamkara’s Spine – 13 Strange Coins
- (Warlock Gauntlets) Ophidian Aspect – 13 Strange Coins
- (Hand Cannon) Hawkmoon – 23 Strange Coins
- (Legacy Engram) Helmet – 29 Strange Coins
TL;DR: Skip the Weapon Bundles and Legacy Engram, out of the three armor sets The Ophidian Aspect gauntlets are something worth considering. Pick up the Hawkmoon if you don’t have it already, and if you are running low make sure to pick up some Heavy Ammo Synths and Three of Coins.
Destiny is out now for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One. The expansion known as Rise of Iron is available for PS4 and Xbox One.
