Road Rage, Motorcycle Combat-Racing Game Launches Oct 24th For PS4, XB1, PC

Old-school racing fanatics of classic 16-bit racing games like Road Rash have been begging for a proper remake. Sadly, we haven’t had many motorcycle combat-racing games come out, save for Dark Seas Interactive’s Road Redemption, which is a pretty awesome multiplayer racing game. Well, for console gamers they can look forward to Maximum Games’ Road Rage, which is a high-octane, weapon-based, brawling racing title set to release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and on Steam for PC come October 24th this fall.

The developers recently sent out a press release indicating that the indie-made racing title will see players hustling and bustling their way up the ranks by winning races, battling other racers, and earning money in order to upgrade your bike and become the top of the crop of the underground racing league.

The gang-warfare racer will feature 90 different story-driven quests and side-missions for you to conquer, along with a variety of different bike-types to utilize during the race, including rat bikes, street bikes, racing bikes and road bikes.

The game sports open-world traversal across a city with rural areas, countrysides and urban tracks to conquer, along with a crazy assortment of weapons, ranging from chainsaws and katanas, to buster-swords and axes.

I’m a little shocked they don’t have any footage on the main website but they do allow you to pre-order the game for the three platforms that it will be releasing on. Pre-orders without gameplay footage is scary.

Anyway, the game is only going to be $19.99 when it does release, so don’t go in expecting a $60 experience with this game.

Frankly, I’m not entirely sure what to think about Road Rage. It hasn’t been in the developmental spotlight quite like Road Redemption, where we were able to see the growth of that game from start to finish.

Anyway, you can look for the game to launch digitally and physically come October 24th for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
