A new rumor is circulating that claims Devil May Cry 5 and Soul Calibur VI will supposedly show up at PSX 2017 or PlayStation Experience 2017. All of the information should be handled with care, but given a recent confirmation by the person behind the rumor, it could hold some validity.
Notice: None of this information has been confirmed as true and shouldn’t be taken as fact. The following rumor has very little backing it up as truth regarding Devil May Cry 5 and Soul Calibur VI appearing at this year’s PlayStation Experience, meaning that you should take this with a grain of salt.
Looking over to the latest rumor mill that has gamers talking comes the supposed appearance of Devil May Cry 5 and Soul Calibur VI at PlayStation Experience 2017. This information comes from publication site GameRant who picked up on the rumor via Reddit user DasVergeben.
This Reddit user disclosed that he was the original one to predict that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Enchantress would soon fulfill slots in Injustice 2‘s character roster Fighter Pack 3 over on Gamefaqs a week ago:
“I will start this off by saying I was the one who leaked TMNT and Enchantress being the other characters in Fighter Pack 3.”
If you don’t know, PlayStation Experience 2017 is set to kick-off on December 9th and end on the 10th. Additionally, a keynote will be held on December 8th — a day before the event goes live.
Moreover, the publication site noted that the Reddit user announced Devil May Cry 5 reveal will be coming to PSX sporting Dante, Vergil, and Nero as playable characters in the game.
Lastly, DasVergeben claims that a new iteration of Soul Calibur VI will be coming to PSX, which the user suggests should be appearing on the game’s 21st anniversary.
Remember, none of this is solid and should be taken with a grain of salt. However, would you like to see Devil May Cry 5 and Soul Calibur VI announced at said event?
