Hand Of Fate 2 Free DLC Available For PC, Coming To PS4, Xbox One In 2018

Defiant Development announced that a brand new piece of content has been added to Hand of Fate 2 for the PC version of the game, but will arrive on Xbox One and PS4 in 2018. The new DLC will feature The Dealer joining in on the adventures as a new party member once you complete the final challenge in the main game.

As a party member, you’ll get more of the Dealer’s personality, along with his “quips and insults” delivered by Anthony Skordi, who just recently portrayed Admiral Garrick Versio, Iden Versio’s father, in Star Wars: Battlefront II.

Morgan Jaffit, the director at Defiant Development, explained in the press release that love him or hate him, the Dealer is one of the game’s most popular elements…

“Love or hate the Dealer, players will be thrilled to have more of him than ever before, transforming our most memorable character into a companion.”

The Dealer DLC is currently available for free. If you own the Steam version the game should have automatically updated to include the new party character.

According to the Steam community post, Defiant Development has a lot more planned for the release of Hand of Fate 2. They have more companion characters in the works, along with new challenges, and a new enemy faction that will be added to the game at some point in 2018.

The title is a mixture of strategy-based combat meets deckbuilding. Hand of Fate managed to capture a niche audience with its unique blend of strategic elements compiled into a fantasy-oriented gameplay experience. It’s a little like Yu-Gi-Oh! meets Heroes of Might & Magic.

You can learn more about the game by checking out the Steam store page, or if you’re playing Hand of Fate 2 on PS4 or Xbox One, you can look for the DLC to drop in early 2018.
