Nintendo Switch Worldwide Sales Reach Over 10 Million

Nintendo released their nifty new device known as the Nintendo Switch back in March of 2017, meeting mixed reception by people before it was released and seeing success afterward. Months later, the little device managed to secure a spot in enough households after worldwide sales topped 10 million units.

If you love Nintendo or you hate ’em, you can’t ignore the success of the Nintendo Switch. Adding on to the new device’s milestone chart comes the Nintendo Switch moving over 10 million units. This means that consumers all around the world since its availability on March 3rd, 2017 purchased well over the 10 million units.

Speaking of games, the device launched with some titles that have secured a “strong first year” label for the Switch. This includes first-party titles like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, and Arms.

Peering over to its third-party titles, we can see games such as Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, FIFA 18, Rocket League, L.A. Noire, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Golf Story, and indie titles like Stardew Valley hit the scene.

There’s no doubt that the Nintendo Switch will bring its current success into the coming year 2018.
