Call of Duty: WW2 is currently out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, however Activision and Treyarch already have job listings for Call of Duty 2018. It is rumored that this upcoming 2018 CoD game will be Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which is said to launch for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
Notice: The following information is a rumor and should be handled as a rumor. Although Activision and Treyarch are working on a new Call of Duty game, the two have not disclosed that it will be Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. With that said, take the following information with a grain of salt.
If you don’t know, Marcus Sellars is the one who predicted the January Nintendo Direct date a month before it launched, and he’s also the one who happened to be right about Nintendo’s Labo announcement.
In addition to the above, Sellars seems to have a pretty solid track record when it comes to predicting announcements regarding Nintendo stuff, which this Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 rumor has ties to the Nintendo Switch.
COD 2018 is Black Ops 4 and is coming to PS4/Xbox/PC/Switch. It is set in the modern times and is boots on the ground. The Switch version will support DLC, HD Rumble and motion controls. The Switch version is also being ported by a company which is familar with COD games.

He claims that Cod 2018 will be set in “modern times”, which links up with a 2017 job listing that Activision and Treyach released. The job listing seeks a person to help make the 2018 edition of Call of Duty more “modern” by having a “Deep knowledge base of firearms and modern military technology.”

The true question is, would you like to see Call of Duty 2018 explore a modern time with modern tech and weapons? As it stands now, most rumors/information pertaining to Call of Duty 2018 seem to point to a more modern entry to the series.
It’s worth keeping in mind that Activsion and Treyarch have not disclosed CoD 2018’s setting, which means that we’ll find out more information about this game later this year or around E3 2018.
