Hokuto Ga Gotoku Demo Now Available For PS4 In Japan

Sega’s Yakuza Studio has announced the Hokuto ga Gotoku or Fist of the North Star Japanese demo date. The PS4 exclusive demo will drop on February 22nd, while the official game will release for PS4 on March 8th, 2018 in Japan.

Hokuto ga Gotoku brings a load of ridiculous action into a playable package and is accessible to play through a demo that is now available in Japan. You can get a nice look at what Hokuto ga Gotoku or Fist of the North Star has to offer thanks to Yakuza Fan.

The Yakuza Studio announced Hokuto ga Gotoku for PS4 back on August 26th, 2017. Dubbed as an action-adventure game, it will feature a new story set in “Eden,” the place of entertainment and the district of the century’s end where the hopes of the people come together. You will be able to experience action and exploration elements, with an added bonus of Yakuza series-style “play spots.”

As for the story it sees one location untouched, somewhat, from the final war named “The City of Miracles” or Eden. Kenshiro’s only hope, after a heart full of despair, is based on a rumor that his beloved fiancee Yuria, who was thought to be dead, is living in Eden. He must now travel to the heavily guarded place that could determine his fate.

Sounds interesting? The demo for Hokuto ga Gotoku will include a battle tutorial mode and a section of the story mode. The former mode will let you practice and learn the game by fighting Shin, as for the latter mode it will let you play a special side mission that includes Ken driving a buggy and exploring Eden.

If you want to play this demo it will require a Japanese PSN account to download. If you can’t do that you’ll have to wait for a Western version to be announced.
