Toadman Interactive’s Immortal Unchained is gearing up for release later this year, and Play-Asia has announced that the hardcore, shoot-and-slash RPG is currently available for pre-order right now for the Xbox One and PS4.
You probably forgot about Immortal Unchained because the game hasn’t been advertised, promoted, or received a trailer since almost six months ago. If you did happen to forget about it (because I surely did) you can check out the trailer below.
So basically it’s like Lords of the Fallen and Too Human fused together, giving gamers a little bit of some sweet, molten-hot projectile action while also hacking and slashing at foes not unlike Deck13 Interactive’s The Surge.
I suppose the game attempts to take the best of all three games and combine them together, especially since you can’t purchase Too Human anymore for the Xbox 360.
Unfortunately we still don’t get to see much gameplay of Immortal Unchained so if you decided to pre-order the game you would be doing so completely blind.
I’m not sure why Toadman Interactive is intent on opening pre-orders so early while gameplay is still so far and few between. I would be remiss to say that anyone interested in the game shouldn’t pre-order without first being able to see thoroughly what the gameplay is like before committing to a purchase. Usually, though, when a game seems like it’s worth the purchase and is a high-profile game that seems like it’s worth purchasing right off the bat, the developers aren’t at all reluctant to showcase gameplay footage.
Anyway, if you were curious about Immortal Unchained or at least wanted to keep the game on your radar, you can check out the pre-order page over on Play-Asia, but it might be best to wait until like half an hour’s worth of gameplay footage pops up first.
