Jose Teixeira is one of many who helped CD Projekt Red with games such as the Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077. As it stands now he is helping Techland with a new fantasy game with RPG elements.
Teixeria is a Visual Effects Artist who helped with CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, both expansions, and with Cyberpunk 2077. He also helped with the latter game’s programming team on new visual effects related tools and features for upgrading the in-house game engine software.
After putting in four years and two months time into CD Projekt Red, like any other Visual Effects Artist, he moved on to another development studio. Staying in Poland, this development studio happens to be Techland.
Teixeiria is stationed in Warsaw, Poland. If you didn’t know, two years ago Techland CEO, Pawel Marchewka, made mention to publication site GamePressure that its Warsaw-based studio is currently working on a fantasy game with a big open world and RPG elements.
The fantasy RPG is a new IP and will feature both single-player and co-op multiplayer. The project that Marchewka talked about is said to be more ambitious than Hellraid. However, the publication site cited Techland’s CEO back in 2016 saying that this new game will be released in the span of the next 2–3 years.
Given that the Warsaw studio is working on a new open world fantasy game with RPG elements, and now with Jose Teixeria working in that very studio, it seems that we could be in for a big surprise.
Lastly, we know that this new fantasy game has no relations to Hellraid due to a tweet that Techland sent out saying that Hellraid is on hold right now due to quality issues.
Hi there, we afraid that game is on hold because it wasn't meeting our high standards.

Time will surely tell what Teixeira and Techland are up to and what this new fantasy open world game with RPG elements holds for gamers.
