Agony Release Pushed Back; Release Date Announcement Coming Soon

PlayWay and MadMind Studio have taken to Kickstarter to announce that Agony will not release on its intended release date of March 30th, which is evident given its missing release today. The release date for Agony will be announced sometime soon.

Folks looking to dive into the depths of horror, agony, and hell will find that it won’t happen on March 30th. An explanation was provided by the team in a new notice up on the game’s Kickstarter page, which reads:

“As you all have been curious about Agony we do have some information for you. Sadly we have to inform you that March 30th will not be the release date. We will inform you as soon as possible with the final release date of the game. Why is this? -With Agony being released across PS4, PC and Xbox we are facing last steps including polishing to support every player- no matter which platform – with the best possible experience. We wish this could have been done faster but ask for your patience to ensure you get the experience you deserve when Agony is released.”

On the morsel side of things for non-elated fans will find that Agony will support other languages. Tongues and related text at launch will include:

  • French
  • Italian
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Russian
  • Polish
  • Turkish
  • Portugese

The update also explains that all age ratings have been confirmed, meaning the team has the official rating out-of-the-way.

If you don’t know, the game will have you assuming the role of a tormented soul who must explore hellish locations. In the act of roaming a scourged realm full of anguish. The player must interact with other weary souls to find their ticket out of Hell.
