Far Cry 5 Perk Category And Skill Tree Detailed

Ubisoft’s Far Cry 5 is almost out and will hit PC, PS4, and Xbox One on March 27th. Folks looking for a head start to obtain all perks and skills in the game will find how to do so hopefully in this guide.

Far Cry 5 has a Perk and Skill system, however it’s unclear how different it will be from previous Far Cry games at launch. To get a nice idea how this system will work ahead of its late March debut, a video attempts to explain what every category, skill, and perk will do in Far Cry 5.

Survivalist

  • Human Fish: Swim quicker and hold your breath underwater longer – (1 Skill Point)
  • Fisher King: Fish will tire faster. Grants new flies for bigger fish – (4 Skill Points)
  • King of the Jungle: Reduces wildlife damage. Predators prioritize nearby enemies over you. Prey animals flee less from you – (6 Skill Points)
  • Repair Torch: Unlock the ability to repair cars and open safes – (5 Skill Points)
  • Black Market: Craft explosive items and ammo – (6 Skill Points)
  • Harvest Master:  Double your loot reward from plants and animals – (8 Skill Points)
  • Health Boost 1: Increase max health by 150% – (6 Skill Points)
  • Health Boost 2: Increase max health by 200% – (7 Skill Points)
  • Health Boost 3: Increase max health by 250% – (8 Skill Points)
  • Heath Boost 4: Increase max health by 300% – (9 Skill Points)

Renegade

  • Parachute: Unlocks a parachute – (1 Skill Point)

Assassin

  • Grapple: Unlocks the grapple tool – (1 Skill Point)
  • Nimble Fingers: Craft items faster, sabotage or booby trap vehicles, disable alarms and open safes – (4 Skill Points)
  • Sneaky Sprint: Move faster while crouched – (4 Skill Points)
  • Master Blaster: Required components for explosives reduced by 50% – (5 Skill Points)
  • Takedown Mastery: Unlocks chain, melee throw and sidearm takedowns – (6 Skill Points)
  • Ghost: Make less noise when moving. Falling damage reduced – (7 Skill Points)
  • Throwback: Throw back incoming projectiles like grenades and dynamite – (7 Skill Points)
  • Locksmith: Lockpick safes and doors that don’t require a keycard – (6 SP)
