Techland Secures Call Of Juarez Series Publishing Rights From Ubisoft

Techland has announced that it has secured the Call of Juarez series publishing rights after a partnership with the game’s original publisher Ubisoft. Techland Publishing made the announcement of the return of the 2013 game on April 30th.

According to publication site gamesindustry.biz, it has been reported that Techland Publishing has announced Call of Juarez: Gunslinger’s return to the market. The return of Gunslinger, which was removed from the PS Store, Xbox Games Store, and Steam late last month, has returned.

Furthermore, the transfer agreement signed by the two companies will see the Call of Juarez rights under the Techland Publishing branch. To confirm the whole move between said publisher and Ubisoft, Techland Publishing CPO, Adam Lasoń, stated:

“Developed by Techland, the Call of Juarez series received a great reception and support from a huge community of players. As Techland Publishing moves forward as a leading publisher, we are delighted to welcome Call of Juarez: Gunslinger to our publishing division.”

“We would like to thank Ubisoft for its incredible work publishing the Call of Juarez games. We’ll continue the great efforts of Ubisoft and support the fans of the Call of Juarez universe in the same dutiful and passionate way.”

Techland Publishing also announced that more information on the availability of other Call of Juarez games on the digital scene will be announced at a later date.

In addition to the above, Call of Juarez: The Cartel fits into the same boat. Definite news on the game is currently up in the air and will be relayed to the public as soon as the company sorts everything out.
