Techland Is Still Working On Top-Down Shooter God’s Trigger

If you don’t know what God’s Trigger is or you forgot about the game, there’s some good news for you: Publisher Techland and developer One More Level are still working on the top-down shooter that is God’s Trigger. The game is slated for release this year for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

God’s Trigger 2017 reveal trailer was met with mixed reception. Some gamers hated it because it has nothing to do with Call of Juarez, Dying Light or Hellraid and also that it’s a top-down shooter.

It’s worth noting that Techland isn’t necessarily developing God’s Trigger but that they’re publishing it for developer One More Level. With that said, fans shouldn’t expect something like Call of Juarez, Dying Light or Hellraid from God’s Trigger since One More Level is behind it.

If you want to know what this top-down shooter has to offer, you can read the official description and watch the older reveal trailer below.

“Get ready for a bloodbath of apocalyptic proportions in the new co-op action game, God’s Trigger. God’s Trigger takes co-op teamwork to a completely new level as it throws together the odd-couple of an Angel and a Demoness, who must work together to defeat the Four Horsemen before they destroy all life on Earth.”

If the reveal trailer has your interest at the moment do know that Techland and crew are still working on God’s Trigger. As noted by Techland when a curious fan inquired about the release date, the company had the following to say:

Although the team has nothing to share right now, given that they told the inquirer to “stay tuned!” means that official information on the top-down shooter isn’t too far off. We also know that God’s Trigger is still in development and hasn’t been canceled thanks to the same tweet.

If this game looks like something that you can get behind, it will be available to play for PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime this year.
