Dragon Ball FighterZ 2nd DLC Pack Set To Launch On May 31st

Bandai Namco and Arc System Works have an official release date set for Dragon Ball FighterZ upcoming DLC pack, which is set to go live on May 31st, 2018. Currently, the 2.5D fighting game is available to pick up right now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

You’ve read right, Bandai Namco will release the second DLC pack of Dragon Ball FighterZ near the end of this month. The second downloadable content will bring two new fighters to the ever-expanding roster.

If you’re wondering who the two fighters are, Bandai Namco revealed after the leaks, which were correct, that they are SSGSS Vegito and Fused Zamasu.

The former sports both techniques of Goku and Vegeta. The interesting part about the character in question is that he also hones his own unique power and moves to differentiate himself from the other two base fighters. The latter character has the ability to float in the air after certain attacks while moving in any direction, something unique to Fused Zamasu.

You can look over the new screenshots that primarily focus on SSGSS Vegito, which also feature Fused Zamasu, as posted by Bandai Namco.

It’s worth noting that during the rumor time, there was an early leak of the fighter SSGSS Vegito, which predicted that Broly and Bardock would be coming first as DLC fighters. The rumor mill also noted that Fused Zamasu and SSGSS Vegito would be making their rounds in the game as DLC characters, and, lo and behold, the rumor was right. This means that you will either need to purchase the characters individually or snag the Season Pass to play them.

In addition to SSGSS Vegito and Fused Zamasu, the FighterZ Pass, containing the first eight DLC characters, is currently available for $34.99. Each character can also be purchased individually for $4.99.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
