Bethesda Says Fallout 76 BETA Save Progress Will Carry Over To The Full Game

There’s no denying that Bethesda Game Studios’ Fallout 76 has garnered a lot of negative reception before and after it was announced. Well, it looks like the company is still trying to inform people about the game and its beta (Break it Early Test Application) even if 76 is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The latest info that Bethesda dropped pertains to saved progress from the beta carrying over to the full version.

In case you don’t know, Fallout 76 beta can only be accessed if you pre-order the game. Currently, the beta is set to go live sometime in October and will be followed by a release in November.

So with that said, the early access, I mean… beta version of the game will let you keep all of your progress made in the October Break it Early Test Application, which will transcend over to the full November release.

We know this thanks to an update made on fallout.bethesda.net/faq, as listed below:

Q: Is the B.E.T.A. going to be the full game and will my progress carry over to launch?”

A: Our current plan for the B.E.T.A. is it will be the full game and all your progress is saved for launch. We hope you join us!

According to the answer, folks will not only be able to see their progress move from the beta over to the full version, but the whole (or entire) game will be present through the beta. I’m sure, though, transferring your save data will be an optional thing if you don’t want it in the full game.

Lastly, folks will not be able to play Fallout 76 through Steam according to the FAQ page. This applies to both the full version of the game and the beta, meaning the two will be on Bethesda’s launcher for PC gamers.

In the meantime, if you’re looking forward to Fallout 76, the game is set to launch for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 14th, 2018.
