Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Gameplay Shown Off At Gamescom 2018

Gameplay footage of Activision and FromSoftware’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has appeared at Gamescom 2018, letting players get a glimpse at what Hidetaka Miyazaki and the rest of the team have been up to as of late. Sekiro will make its debut across PC, PS4, and Xbox One on March 22nd, 2019.

Without wasting any time, you can see footage that Activision and FromSoftware shared with IGN pertaining to Sekiro’s gameplay at this year’s Gamescom.

The video footage comes in by YouTuber Bambooshoots game, which you can look over right here:

If you haven’t read our last report on Sekiro’s mechanics, it is said that gamers who take their time and study each enemy or thoroughly explore the game’s world will have an upper hand going into any battle.

We also learn that folks who hunker down and learn the game will be rewarded with quick kills and speedy encounters when dealing with any baddies.

As for rushers, they will find that Sekiro will be equally or just as challenging as other FromSoftware games. In addition to difficulty and mechanics, the core combat is “measured” by skill. Special sword arts will be in the game supplementing regular attacks to enhance the skilled player’s experience, which is followed by the act of switching between a variety of unique “Prosthetic Tools.”

As of right now, we know that Sekiro is an action-adventure game without stats or classes and that there are different weapons and abilities to master. The game can be very hard if you rush through it, but if you take your time and learn the enemies and explore the world, the game can be fun/rewarding.

Sekiro: Shadows Dice Twice will cost $59.99, and is slated to come out early next year. Activision (worldwide publisher), FromSoftware (Japanese publishing), and Cube Game (Asian publishing) plan to ship the game on PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One on March 22nd, 2019.
