Spyro Reignited Trilogy Has Been Delayed To November 13th, 2018

It looks like the purple dragon won’t be roasting and toasting foes right out of the gate this September but instead, he’ll be back at saving the world in the upcoming trilogy this year across home consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) on November 13th.

Not too long ago, statements made by Toys for Bob during an interview with the PlayStation Underground suggested that the team needed more time to work on the three Spyro games known as Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which seems to have come to fruition today in that the bundle has been delayed from Q3 to Q4 2018.

The letter disclosing the announcement or delay, can be found over on blog.activision.com. The post made by an Activision Staff member exlpains how they’re “deeply committed to getting these games right” and how “the Trilogy needs more love and care,” prompting a November release.

You can read the full letter right here:

“Everyone here at Toys for Bob is so proud to be reigniting the original Spyro trilogy after all these years. We’re deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018. I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care. In November when you’re exploring the Dragon Realms, Avalar and the Forgotten Worlds, we know you’ll agree the extra time was worth the wait.”

Furthermore, the delay also sparked the comment section on the blog post to be a little active in that most of the replies left were concerned about all three games being on a physical disc.

In addition to the above, there’s no telling if all three games will arrive on disc for gamers and fans alike to enjoy, but what is known is that the trilogy set for PS4 and Xbox One has been pushed from September 21st to November 13th, 2018.
