Avalanche Studios announced that Just Cause 4 has officially gone gold. This means that principal development on the game on is complete and the studio is prepping to release the open-world action title for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC starting December 4th next month.
The news came courtesy of a tweet from the official Just Cause Twitter account on October 31st, 2018.

The gone master disc will now be sent to the printing press for mass distribution at retail outlets.
The team will also likely focus on ironing out any of the issues related to playability, controls, frame-rate and optimization for all three major platforms.
Sadly Avalanche Studios has had an uneven track record when it comes to releasing games that run properly.
The studio had a pretty big issue with the launch of Just Cause 3, where the game had some major frame-rate issues and ended up running into lots of performance hiccups that Avalanche spent weeks trying to fix.
Hopefully this time around they have all of that sorted out.
There’s also news that the game will have three major pieces of DLC made available post launch in 2019.
On the upside, at least Rico Rodriguez hasn’t been compromised during the latest spat of undermining the lead heroes in the games to swap them for a “diverse” character. Many straight white males have been getting tossed under the boss so that studios can cater to the phantom audience who don’t actually buy games. So it’s sadly become an important and mandatory standard to report on whether or not you can even still play as a straight white male in some games.
You can look for Just Cause 4 to launch on December 4th next month for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
