The crowdfunded game, Praey For The Gods, was one of the last, big notable indie projects to grace Kickstarter with widespread attention and acclaim. No Matter Studios’ project managed to rack up more than $500,000 back in 2016. It was a visionary project that hit a lot of gamers right in the feels due to its similarities to Shadow of the Colossus. Well, the game is currently in Early Access at the moment on Steam, but cheat trainers have already popped up for the game.
There’s a premium trainer available over on Cheat Happens.
Praey For The Gods trainer features the following cheats:
This basically removes all of the hardships in the game so that you won’t freeze to death, you won’t die of starvation, you won’t become fatigued due to a lack of sleep, and you don’t have to worry about dying during battle.
Praey For The Gods is a rather aesthetically captivating title, even though it’s still in Early Access on Steam. You can check out the first Praey For The Gods hour of the game courtesy of YouTuber Shirrako.
The intro sequence is very similar to Shadow of the Colossus insofar that it has no gaudy dialogue or plot directions. Instead, players wake up on the shores of a frozen beach; wind and ocean at your back, while snow and rock lay ahead.
You can jump using the spacebar, run using ‘W’ and the Shift key, and you can use the ‘E’ button to interact with environmental objects.
You have access to various gadgets, including a grappling hook.
The animations are still a little rough around the edges, and there’s the typical jankiness that you oftentimes see from 3D indie games still in development, but the sound design and atmosphere are absolutely top-notch. As players move from one area to the next, the physics-based environmental effects such as flame embers and snow shifting with the direction of the wind, and the trees swaying in the breeze, really help bring the game’s world to life.
Just six minutes into the game you’ll encounter your very first boss, a towering abomination that’s part rock, part carcass, part troll, and entirely angry.
The boss fights are literally identical to Shadow of the Colossus, as you climb up the monsters, attempt to hand on and damage the sigils located around the body of the boss.
I have to admit that I was very impressed seeing the boss for the first time. It looks and moves so much better than I thought it would.
One of the big differences between Praey For The Gods and Shadow of the Colossus, though, is that you have to not only battle against these ancient behemoths, but you also have to contend with the other survival elements in the game and even the dynamic weather conditions.
If you already own a copy of the game you can make use of the cheat trainer, otherwise, you can wait six months to a year from now and pick up the full version of Praey For The Gods when it finally launches in full and graduates from Early Access, as well as arrives on the Xbox One and PS4.
For more info, feel free to check out the game over on the Steam store page, where it’s available for $29.99.
