Kameha Con, a convention all about celebrating Dragon Ball culture, initially invited anime voice actor Vic Mignogna to host a panel at the event and talk about his role as Broly in the Dragon Ball animated series. However, they received a lot of threats and harassment, which led to them canceling Mignogna’s appearance. Well, after some cajoling from the fans and community, they reversed their decision and will now allow Vig Mignogna to have a panel at the event.
Originally Kameha Con had cancelled Mignogna’s appearance after the articles and news dropped about allegations of misconduct. On February 1st, 2019 they made the following announcement.
Vic Mignogna will no longer be attending Kameha Con 2019.

However, after news broke that some of those allegations were fabricated and that there appeared to be a conspiracy to ruin Mignogna’s career, Kamea Con had reconsidered their position to host Mignogna as a guest. But that decision didn’t last long.
Bounding Into Comics reported on March 21st, 2019 that Kameha Con was convinced to cancel their invitation of Vic Mignogna to the convention.
Minnesota lawyer Nick Rekieta did a video explaining that Kameha Con had allegedly received threats from fellow voice actors Monica Rial and Chris Sabat, which is what led to the convention canceling Mignogna’s appearance.
The video stream alleges that Kameha Con had received pressure from the voice actors to prevent Mignogna from appearing.
Fans, however, began to push back against the pressure and harassment that Kameha Con had received and attempted to convince the convention to bring back Mignogna as a guest.
On March 22nd, 2019, they reversed their decision, again, and announced that Vic Mignogna would be appearing as a guest at the convention set to take place in April.

According to YouTuber YellowFlash, Rekieta and fans were able to sway the hosts of Kameha Con to reverse their decision and allow Mignogna back in.
YellowFlash did a video about the incident, covering some of the ridiculous back and forth decision making that the convention hosts underwent before finally deciding to let the actor back into the convention. You can check out the video below.
So for now, it appears as if Vic Mignogna’s guest invitation for appearing at the convention is back on. In response to this news, Monica Rial announced on March 23rd, 2019 that she was canceling her appearance at this year’s Kameha Con for “safety” reasons.
I have decided to cancel my appearance at Kamehacon. This was a difficult decision because the last thing I want to do is disappoint the fans. To make it up to you guys, I’m working on finding a space to do a signing. I will share the details as soon as I have them worked out. ❤️

I love you guys but I have concerns about my safety.
