Bethesda’s Rage 2 launched today for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The game has its fair share of problems based on the user reviews that have dropped so far, including performance issues spawned from the inclusion of Denuvo DRM. However, if you have the game on PC and you’re looking for ways to compensate for the empty world, long load times, or the boring missions, there are some cheats to help spice things up.
The first cheat trainer is available for free to download over on the Mr. Antifun forum.
The Rage 2 cheat trainer sports the following options:
There is a very, very, very minor caveat to the cheat trainer above, and it’s that in order to make use of the infinite money cheat you’ll need to have at least acquired $1, which shouldn’t be too hard. Once you have that enable the cheat and you will have infinite amounts of cash to spend.
There’s a second cheat trainer available for download as a premium from over on CheatHappens.com.
The Rage 2 cheats sport the following options:
There’s nothing special or unique required to get the cheats to work. However, you will have to have a premium account with Cheat Happens in order to download the trainer, so that’s something to keep in mind.
The trainer on the list is available to download both as free and premium options from MegaDev.info.
The Rage 2 cheats available in the trainer are listed below:
So the cheats here are laid out pretty clear. You have your god mode cheats, your vehicle invincibility cheats, your unlimited ammo cheats, and both project points and cooldown cheats to make use of.
I don’t know how well the cheats will come in handy given that one of the biggest complaints is that the game is kind of boring and mundane, especially when you’re not doing story-related quest missions. It’s a little like giving a bunch of Jihadists some high-density chemical-laced plastic explosives and then sending them to Detroit; there’s nothing to blow up since it’s already a war-torn wasteland.
Anyway, if you just want to dick around and try out different things then the trainers might be helpful for that. You might even be able to discover some hidden secrets or areas you may not have been able to reach through a normal play session.
Rage 2 is available right now for home consoles and on the Steam store for PC.
