Death Stranding Has Gone Gold In Preparation Of Nov 8th Release

Kojima Productions announced that Death Stranding has officially gone gold for the PlayStation 4, which means that core development on the game is complete and the title is prepping to release on November 8th this fall.

The news about the game going gold came courtesy of a tweet made by the developer on September 26th, 2019.

What this means is that all principal development on Death Stranding is complete, and at this point the team is working on brushing up anything they may have missed in preparation for any day-one patches.

There used to be a time when games could operate out of the box on launch day without day-one patches, but now those days are long gone and well behind us.

Anyway, the good part is that it looks like majority of Kojima Productions is still homogenous when it comes to talent, and they haven’t outsourced key positions to less savory factions of the development community that basks in ill-repute… usually those feckless kind that lounge around certain communities and cities that majority of normal people despise.

Death Stranding is an open-world traveling simulator where you have to deliver things across a divided and segmented U.S. Players are tasked with reconnecting people and cities, and must also rescue the interim President of the United States from a pack of terrorists, all while dodging some phantoms along the way, and using maternaless babies to help avoid getting pulled into reality-altering ghost poop.

You can look for Death Stranding to launch on the PS4 starting November 8th, 2019.
