The people following #ComicsGate still seem to have a passion for solid comic book material. They have already successfully funded Richard C. Meyer’s next big comic book outing, Iron Sights: 2 Psychos.
The comic book debuted on IndieGoGo on November 16th, 2019 and barely a day later the crowdfunding campaign has racked up $15,000 as of the writing of this article.
The pitch video for the comic attempts to keep it short, but it’s really not. As most of you know, pitch videos are typically between a minute and five minutes long. Usually if it’s self-explanatory it’s a minute long with the rest of the pitch being detailed on the page. If it’s a little more complex then we get the full elevator pitch within the video.
Well, given that this is a Diversity & Comics pitch, it’s ten minutes long, but he does his best to move through quickly to explain all the ins and outs of the comic, why he’s back on IndieGoGo, what he hopes to achieve, how quickly you can expect Iron Sights 2 to ship, and some of the changes that were made to the cover art to make it even more amazing than it already is. You can check it out below.
The comic centers around a militarized drug cartel and some of the people involved in the growing organization along with the hijinks that come along with it.
As noted by Meyer in the video, after he successfully delivered on Jawbreakers, there’s now a more confident fanbase who believes in his turnaround of delivering on crowdfunded projects, which is why Iron Sights: 2 Psychos managed to accrue so much so quickly.
I can already imagine the anti-#ComicsGate people seething all over social media about his success and basically undermining all the woke nonsense and printed garbage being churned out by both Marvel and DC Comics.
If you want to support Iron Sights: 2 Psychos, which is scheduled to start shipping in January of 2020, feel free to visit the IndieGoGo page.
