Resident Evil 3 Remake Minimum PC Specs Are The Same As Resident Evil 2 Remake

When a publisher or developer is using their brain, they don’t release a game’s PC specs early unless the title in question is almost done or has gone gold. In other words, the abbreviation for not available (N/A) is supposed to show until things are looking smooth. Well, in this case, it looks like folks need the same minimum specs as Resident Evil 2 Remake to run Resident Evil 3 Remake, according to Capcom.

Thanks to website DSOG, we learn that Capcom has posted up Resident Evil 3 Remake’s minimum PC requirements. Lo, the game that makes sure to re-envision an older title with up to date fugly characters is nothing more than a copy/paste job.

Anyway, here’s Resident Evil 2 Remake’s lowest required specs:

Resident Evil 2 Remake Minimum PC Specs:

  • Requirements: 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: WINDOWS® 7, 8.1, 10 (64-BIT Required)
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-4460 or AMD FX™-6300 or better
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 760 or AMD Radeon™ R7 260x with 2GB Video RAM
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 26 GB available space

And then here are the specs for the upcoming 2020 game known as Resident Evil 3 Remake:

Resident Evil 3 Minimum PC Specs:

  • Requirements: 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: WINDOWS® 7, 8.1, 10 (64-BIT Required)
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-4460 or AMD FX™-6300 or better
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 760 or AMD Radeon™ R7 260x with 2GB Video RAM
  • DirectX: Version 11

Now, before someone says, “Oh, please! The game isn’t even out yet! How is this news? Those specs can change later down the line!” To that I say, stop being a debased shill and listen.

Thanks to website dualshockers.com, we learn that this copy/paste scam job with ugly characters is already 90% done.

The website in question found that folks that want the OG costumes must pay to get them, which is a load of BS:

“In a nutshell, Resident Evil 3 is about showing the beautifulness and strength of Jill Valentine, and the dread of the Nemesis. While Jill’s design has changed a bit to fit with how the game is more action-oriented than the original, the team kept in mind she’s one of the most popular protagonists of the series and made sure to not change her image too much. Carlos looks different too, but he still has the same hot-blooded personality. If you miss the original designs, they’re included as preorder bonuses DLC for the game.”

Secondly, DualShockers finds that the game is nearly done. You can read what the site found doing some research right below:

“Next, we also learned via the Famitsu interview that Resident Evil 3‘s development is pretty much complete. Masao Kawada promised the game definitely won’t be delayed from its April 2020 release. Capcom is currently handling the final adjustments of the game, and these are nearly done too, at around 90%.”

With all of that said, expect Resident Evil 3 Remake’s minimum and recommended specs to be the same as the previous remake when it hits PC and home consoles on April 3rd, 2020.
