It looks like Code Vein fans will be treated to more stuff very soon in that Bandai Namco is working on the game’s Hellfire Knight update as we speak. Said to release on January 29th, 2020, a data miner has pulled up many images that contain info on what fans can expect when the expansion goes live across PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Leaker Vashzaron has many images and info up on the forthcoming update for Code Vein through several posts and albums. However, I should note that if you don’t want any Hellfire Knight spoilers, please turn back now.
Firstly, we get to see two characters from the upcoming DLC wielding weapons and the like. You can check out the two stills right here courtesy of data miner Vashzaron:
The next slew of images highlight decals, weapons, clothing, and other special stuff like a locked door that requires the curious to possess the Hellfire Knight DLC to proceed:
Vashzaron also has data mined images of bosses and even went as far as to dig up music for gamers to listen to from the Hellfire Knight expansion. With that said, you can access said content through the given link.
We also learn that microsoft.com has a page up for the Hellfire Knight DLC, revealing that it’s included with the Code Vein season pass for $24.99. Anyway, you can read what this expansion has to offer at launch:
“New powerful foes await in the first CODE VEIN DLC, Hellfire Knight. In addition to new weapons, Blood Veils, and blood codes being added, alternate costumes for your partners are now obtainable from newly added areas in the Depths.”
Lastly, expect a trailer to go up soon on one of Bandai Namco’s YouTube channels showing off some of the above content. In the meantime, we know from both the Microsoft Store and the leaker that the expansion is due to release on January 29th, 2020.
