It looks like Capcom is gearing up to work out some bugs and other gameplay issues through an upcoming Resident Evil Ambassadors playtest. Sadly, it’s unclear at this moment if this test is for Resident Evil 3 Remake or another Resident Evil game.
What we do know is that to heighten your chances of joining this playtest is to register for the Resident Evil Ambassadors Program and be over the age of 18.
For those of you wanting to join in, you can sign up by filling out the form on ambassador.jp.
It’s worth noting that signing up through said website does not guarantee a spot to playtest whatever Resident Evil game is on the Ambassadors Program. However, it just increases your chances of being picked.
Moreover, if you’re already a member of the Ambassadors Program, you should get an email from Capcom detailing any upcoming events, including this new playtest.
Thanks to Reddit user too_much_milk1, you can check out the locations and potential dates for this playtest right here:

During the late part of December 2019, we reported that Tsuyoshi Otani — the producer in charge of the Resident Evil Ambassador Program — had teased a new unannounced Resident Evil game is in the works:
“[…] We have invitations to a play test session of our unannounced title*, and priority seats at our game show booth**.
* You need to apply for the play test to be eligible for selection.
** Game show locations / dates are not confirmed.”
Rumors have been circulating and suggest that some sort of take on Resident Evil 8 or Resident Evil: Revelations 3 is in the works.
No matter what it is, we know that this project is related to Resident Evil since it’s apart of the Resident Evil Ambassadors Program. With that said, what do you think it is?
