Electronic Arts is known for many things, being pro-consumer and community-friendly isn’t one of them. That’s been rightly brought back to the forefront of discussion after reports surfaced that EA’s catalog of Steam games have seen a significant price hike.
Sankaku Complex picked up the news from Niche Gamer, who listed off the major titles that have seen increases in their prices.

They also report that the games appear to be more expensive on Steam than Origin, and that the price hike started somewhere between February 5th and February 7th.
Majority of EA’s catalog on Steam – which totals 38 games – have seen a price hike. As noted by Sankaku Complex, some of the hikes are between 200% and 400% more than their standard price.
